COVID-19 Update

On behalf of the staff and myself, I want to personally let you know that your health and well-being has and always will be our number one priority. We will continue to maintain the highest level of infection control and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines to keep our patients safe. To that end, I want to share some of the precautions we are taking:

We are following Social Distancing New York State Guidelines

  • Curbside Reception: Text our receptionist upon arrival!
  • Parents and extended family members are required to wait in the car during the patient’s appointment
  • Everyone must stand behind the yellow tape on the floor to check in with the receptionist
  • Social Distancing with Mask Wear in the Office
  • Receptionist Sneeze Guards
  • Brushing Station is Closed: we kindly request patients to brush at home before their appointments

We are maintaining a safe environment for our staff

  • Listerine or Proxyl Oral Pre-Rinse before every appointment
  • Staff wear face shields, gowns, gloves, and KN95 facemasks
  • Receptionist Sneeze Guards

We are upholding the highest standard of infection control

  • We have increased the frequency of the cleaning of our office
  • Employee & Patient Wellness Screening Daily Logs
    • We are asking that all patients with upper respiratory symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath to please cancel and reschedule your appointments. We advise you to call your family doctor if you have any of these symptoms. Additionally, if you have recently traveled to a country or a city with high rates of the coronavirus or have been on a cruise please reschedule your visit for at least 14 days from the time of your visit.
  • Hand Sanitizers for Staff & Patients
  • OrthoFoam and WhiteFoam are now available for purchase
    • Contains hydrogen peroxide and whitening agents to deactivate the virus
  • UVLIZERS: UV Light Sanitizers known to be effective against the coronavirus

We are going digital:

We are reducing aerosol in the office:

  • Our office has HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters that are able to trap 99.97 percent of particles that are 0.3 microns. In addition, our office is 6000 square feet, which is great for airflow.
  • We are implementing the use of Xuction HVE’s in all procedures that require a hand piece. This will reduce aerosol by 90%.

Our 3D Dental Imaging System leads the way in three-dimensional orthodontic imaging. Its highly detailed images give Dr. Falsafi the necessary information to make an accurate diagnosis and create the most efficient treatment plan possible.
